How to remove hearts on the screen when player hits entity

I want to remove the hearts on  the screen when i hit entities, because i am making a mod that have tons of strong mobs and when you get too strong and punchs entities tons of hearts apears on the screen, how i can make some procedure for when i hit entitie don't show hearts in the screen?
