MCreator 2023.4: Problem with ranged items always using ammo?

So I updated my mod project from 2023.3 to 2023.4 and I realized that ranged items always use ammo now?

For context I had made some new magic-ish weapons that would shoot out projectiles without the need for ammo. Is that not an option anymore?

Help would be very appreciated!

With the changes we(I)'ve made with ranged items to improve them and allow more features in the future, this was an option we had to sacrifice for the moment to make things easier to develop and implement in a good and better way. The old ranged item mod element was implemented very weirdly and badly, so some of its features were possible due to its bad implementation. However, this implementation was also making the task of implementing new and more complex features much harder, so when I made the split of the ranged item, I had to change a few things in how they work and this feature was partially possible due to the previous implementation. It will surely come back someday in some way as more features are planned for both projectiles and ranged items properties. Sorry for the inconvenience 🙇

You can manually shoot projectile on item right click trigger and not consume any ammo in this case

just notice that now too.. i was testing everything on creative, then when i jumped to survival the sadness when all my laser/particle guns now need Arrows to work :(

neat bro, its actually better in some aspects this way; 1 procedure less and the weapon dont swing, so perfect for guns/pistols, 1 problem thou - weapons like machine guns (automatic) - how we keep shooting on hold button with the shooting procedure? is there a way?
