Control like the Create: Linked Controller

Hey guys!
I want to implement control like in the create Linked Controller Simply put, I want to disable the usual control of keys from 1 to 9, and give the opportunity to do custom actions when pressing keys from 1 to 9.
Maybe I may rebind this keys until a key Shift is pressed, but how?
