Trying to figure out how to create procedure for my machine

I am attempting to make a grinder for my mod so I can grind an ore[pegmatite] into [Pegmatite dust] which I plan to add into another machine [ore roaster] which would result into roasted pegmatite dust which would be added again to the roaster along with sulfuric acid to create [ Lithium sulfate] and[gravel] and finally added to a precipitator with soda ash to get lithium carbonate which I would then add to a smelter to make Lithium ingots which I plan to use to make batteries. It is my intention to not use coal to fuel the machines in my  mod but energy or redstone as I plan to add a generator which will produce energy for my machinery.

     I assume making a grinder would be the same as making a furnace as I am basically taking an ore and placing it into the grinder to create pegmatite dust and gravel. I have no problem with the GUI , and making textures. I am having issues with making a procedure as it appears that the video tutorials on youtube are outdated. Any help with explaining how to make procedures for my case would be appreciated.
