Topic category: Feature requests and ideas for MCreator
A lot of the previous features I have requested for Mcreator have eventually made their way into the software, which is so great! There are a few things though that we dont have yet, that I feel like would help very much:
1) The ability to use the villager trade UI freely (e.g. with other entities and triggers) <--- PLEASE THIS IS THE MAIN THING I WANT
2) Ability to edit vanilla textures, block properties, item properties
3) Dynamically changing overlay sizes so that players can make things like progress bars quickly
4) Ability for blocks and entities to respond to sound similar to scull sensors or Warden
5) This one is slightly much, but the ability to display overlays over blocks or items would be useful. Custom block cracks or visual enchant effects are some use cases.
6) Custom brushes and pottery sherds
Extension of software:
7) An asset store where models, procedures, and textures could be sold and Mcreator taking a cut of it would be very useful as well
I understand point 2 may cause some mod incompatibility issues and is therefore avoided, but the rest of the points shouldn't cause the same issue
Could I add these to my list I am making? https://mcreator.net/forum/109847/necessary-mcreator-updates
Yeah of course
I agree with most of these. Number 2 is something you can do sorta? If you know how to read and write JSON and Java Programming Languages, you can do that without an issue. Number 7 most likely won't happen. MCreator is a non-profit organization, meaning the only form of payment they take are donations. Additionally, Mojang/Microsoft are very picky about profiting off modifications from their games, as I recall a few old mod devs that got shut down for trying to profit off their mods in the past, it's a risk.
With procedure craft plugin you can do point 2 but it effects everything with that texture!
