Help With knowing the player is looking at a specific mob

I am a little new to mcreator I also have the geckolib plugin installed but I need help with a horror mod I need to know when the player is looking at a mob about 60 blocks away and plus I need help with the mobs spawning I dont know how to do each of these please help im new so if you do help please simplify it thank you for reading :D.
