Since Nerdy has discontinued his Geckolib plugin, why doesn't don't the MCreator devs just integrate the same system for the living entity animations? because to be honest the current living mob animations system isn't exactly the best I'd say (morely a bit of a downgrade from Nerdy's plugin). I'll be honest, Nerdy's Geckolib plugin was AMAZING, it was easy to use and it the animations worked in-game! but official MCreator living entity animations system feels like a downgrade in terms of comparison. But I do get that they would most likely need Nerdy's permission to use / replicate his code, so I have to take that into consideration aswell. I obviously mean no offense to the devs of MCreator, this is mainly just feedback, and it's something that I'd like to see again... Sincerely.
- The current animation system uses Mojang's animation system, so if you think it's bad (which it isn't) you need to critize them, not us.
- Nerdy is an active contributor to MCreator and a part of the MCreator Team.
- Even Nerdy recommends to use Mojang's system.
- The code of Nerdy's code is very bad/mess (his own words), so it would be a complete rewrite (as we could make changes needed to make a better support)
- MCreator will not add a feature based on a third-party mod.
