Topic category: Help with MCreator software
Hi,
I'm trying to help my 10 years old son with his first attempts with MCreator.
He created two different items and now he would like to put them in a single mod: is that possible?
Thank you in advance,
Cristina
Explain: you have two seperate items that you want added to the game, or you have two different items that you want to use to craft a third?
In the case of the first, you just keep making them. You can have way more than one or two items, bloks, etc. in a mod. Mine currently has over 200, for instance.
For the second case, when making the third mod, the previously created items should show up at the rightmost end of the block/item. For MCreator 1.6.6 and beyond, they should show the textures you uploaded for them. Just click on it, and it will be used in the new recipe.
As long as the items you create are in the same workspace, they will be in the same mod.
I see this happen so much in forums, guys you need to stop thinking ppl know more than what they do this is really a simple question, hes asking how to export the mod and may not even know where to put the exported file...
so firstly mate, what you need to do in Mcreator where you created the items (i'm hoping you did it in the same workspace, I would also reccomend you make a custom tab so you can find the items you made easily, then go back into the created blocks and choose that new tab as their new location..
on the left hand side of your workspace their is a bunch of buttons going down the screen the second from the bottom is the export button press that name your mod etc then click ok and wait for it to recompile (this takes a while) then click on the accept terms button in the next pop up and save yyour file in the desired location then grab that .jar file and shove it in you mincraft directory which will be something like this C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\mods
and make sure you use forge 1.10.2 if your using MCreator 1.7.1 if you load normal minecraft no mod will show up, just saying this incase you haven't used any mods before..
Hope that helps :P
