Hello. Propably +- everybody who tried start any gradle task from 16:00 UTC has got message that says soemthing like:
Etag download for http://export.mcpbot.bspk.rs/versions.json failed with code 521
FAILURE: Build failed with an exception.
Why? It is simple. MCreator tries download file versions.json. Well the official site from that it is downloading is offline. Because of this there is java.lang.NullPointerException. Only thing to do (if you do not want change some gradle/forge files) is change this error that stops the gradle for another the simply prints some warnings. So what do you must do? Just before you start your gradle task disconnect from internet.

Good workaround! But I think that now http://export.mcpbot.bspk.rs/versions.json is back, at least for me at the moment of writing this post.
Do you know how to fix the gradle task error when I make a mob with a custom model?
I'm trying to get a special weapons dalek & dalek storm for my DALEK-craft mod.
It's still not working for me, how do I fix this? I tried turning off the internet, it didn't work.
What does look like your error? Is it 100% same as the one that I mentioned above?
