Topic category: Mod ideas exchange
I have gotten very good with MCreator and java coding. Right now i need ideas for mods because im trying to make a HUGE mod that will at least take a month of non stop work ( I have nothing else to do) so please post your ideas here, and if you want to help with this just post your info here.
You could add a drive set.
Like there is lvl 1 then 2 and 3 items and you could charge them with the drives and make cool weapons out of them.
Also Skaro, you said you were good at Java, right? I am asking you this because I have a problem with a code. I know, I am a noob at coding but please help. I am trying to make a cooldown code. Here is what I have done so far:
while (<condition does not hold>)
// Perform action appropriate to condition
Sorry, this is the code
// Perform action appropriate to condition
@#14 It all depends, Are you making a cooldown for a command, an item, block place. What exactly are you trying to do
Maybe a midieval quest game with quests and kings and knights and wizards and you need to explore the hole world!
Alright I'm adding a lot of these ideas but right now I need new things cause it's getting very repetitive
@#16 So u need mod ideas...? gg, you came to the right place. Here's some of them I thought of:
Liquid slime: This is a very common idea, and it may be done already. Basically, it looks like slime. Walking in this liquid will make yyoouu sssslllloooowwww, however it has no affect on Slimbes (see below). Also, if you stay in this liquid for more than 5 minutes, you will be UNABLE to move (slimbes do not sink, so hoping they're afk in slime liquid is worth nothing). Then you will start to sink, and suffocate. Pouring water above this liquid would make it darker; and you will move faster. This liquid can be darkenned 3 times, after that it will transform into an medium slimbe, regardless of the size of the lake. You can find this liquid in the overworld, with an INSANE rarity of 0.01% chance of spawning per 10000 chunks. This liquid also camouflages well with grass.
Slimbes: These mobs look like slimes, but with an yellower color. Plus, they won't slow down in Slime Liquid (see above), nor sink it it. These mobs are likely to spawn in Extreme Hills, medium chance in other biomes, and NEVER spawn in swamps. The slimbes are hostile to slimes, and will ignore the player to damage the slimes. If you manage to be hit by a Slimbe, you will be poisoned (Poison VIII for 5 seconds). The slimbe's size is like a medium slime's one. Slimbes will be attacked by large slimes, however Slimbe's poison attack will make the slimes run. Slimbes have 7 full hearts (14 HP), and their attack strength can be calculated by: chanceOfSpawningInCurrentBiome : 10 * 5 + 3. That means, it will deal 3 HP (1 full heart + half heart) of damage in swamps (spawnrate in swamps = 0%), 5.5 HP (2 full hearts + 1 half heart + 1 quarter heart) in other biomes, and 8 (4 hearts) in extreme hills.
Ok, enough stuff about slimes. I think the next idea will lock you a bit:
Diamond door: Has the same recipe as iron doors, except with diamonds. These are the base for the Dimensional Doors (see below), however when put in a Luck Altar it has a bigger chance of corrupting the altar, making it transform into dirt. The diamond door CANNOT be opened using normal redstone. You need to have an Enchanting table ABOVE the door. To open the door, simply enchant an Diamond Key with every enchament you want. The door will be opened. To close the door, simply enchant an Corrupted Key with any enchament you want. This will cost lots of xp and diamonds but will add a new level of security.
Key: Surround a tripwire with gold ingots. Base for diamond and corrupted keys.
Diamond key: Used to open the diamond doors by enchanting them. They can be enchanted ONLY ONCE. Also they are a secondary item for the Dimensional Keys. Crafted by surrounding an Normal Key with diamonds.
Corrupted Key: Used to close the diamond doors by enchanting them. They can be enchanted ONLY ONCE. To obtain them, you need to place a diamond key in the luck altar, and hope for the worst. It has an 10% chance of corrupting the altar.
Luck altar: This will transform minerals in other minerals. The thing is than, once you placed an mineral, you don't know what it will transform into. It can transform diamonds into coal and reverse. Placing a diamond door in there will "reverse" its craft. You will have a chance of 99% of getting back 6 diamonds, however there is an 1% chance that the altar will be corrupted, you will not receive the diamonds but consume the door, and the altar will transform into dirt, sand, gravel and deadbushes. Same for the diamond keys: 1% chance of corrupting and bla bla bla, however you will receive the corrupt key. To obtain it you need to smelt an enchament table into a furnace, but the ONLY fuel to make the luck table appear is Enchanted Coal Block.
Enchanted Coal Block: Crafted like a block of coal, but with 9 coal blocks instead of coal. It is the ONLY fuel to start smelting enchanting tables.
Dimensional Keys: When right-clicking a diamond door with it, you have an 0.000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001% chance (WAY TOO NON-OP) to go to the nether for 5 minutes. If you do not die in them, you will go back to the door and receive amazing 5 DIAMOND BLOCKS, but if you die, items will be destroyed and the world will be INSTANTLY deleted. He he he
When you said new things you didn't excepted this, no? Bet it will keep you busy a bit. And if you need MORE new things, PM me or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
