Topic category: Help with Minecraft modding (Java Edition)
I have MCreator and know how to use it (mostly) but I dont know what software to use to make textures. Do I use MS Paint or do I need some other software?
You could use paint (I think), but I would highly recommend using paint.net. It can be downloaded online for free, and is easy to use
for a block or item texture you coulduse MCreator's inbuild texture making tool which can be found in the tools tab at the top of the screen thingy. I hope that helped.
