Topic category: Feature requests and ideas for MCreator
First request: please add an option to change between the new texture maker layout & the old 1.7. something layout.
Second request: please fix the bug when you try to export your mod to a zip or java file it won't let you save & all the textures go purple & black. (It is very frustrating & painful.)
Third request: please add an option to make a new partical effect as well as blocks, mobs & stuff.
Fourth request: please add a palette so we can save colours for future textures because it is annoying when all the blocks that are mean't to match have different colours & don't fit together.
Fifth request: please have a "duplicate texture" option so users can duplicate textures & edit them slightly so they can have matching textures for blocks & items without having to redraw the whole texture again & again & so on.
Sixth request: please add an option for mobs where they can inherit just some of the AI from other mobs rather than all of it. For example (A custom mob can shoot fire charges like a Ghast but also climb like a spider. And can be tamed with a certain material but can also explode like a creeper.)
Please take these suggestions & requests to mind when making the next update.
THANK YOU!
For the textures, the best way is to edit them with paint.net (not paint, but a better tool used mostly for pixel textures)
The textures are in the: (mcreator folder)\user\resources \textures (If I remember well)
Good ideas :D!
@#1 For the mod I'm using the in-built texture maker that comes with MCreator.
@#1.1 Thanks I appreciate it :) (Smiley face.)
@#1.1.1 Sorry that was mean't to go to Ellivers not me.
And allow to make structures much bigger like castles & cities please.
In tools please add an open world archive so users can access their test envrionment worlds to edit for structures & things like that.
10000% support for the fifth one.
@#5 Thanks.
Um, hi again! It's me! Yet another request! (I know, I'm so annoying aren't I? -The correct answer is yes.)
But um, so yeah, I would also like to suggest an in-build mob/block/item model creator for users. I think I may have already suggested this before but I really don't remember anymore. This will make it easier (Hopefully) for users with Mac computers & other situations where Techne isn't available.
