Topic category: Help with Minecraft modding (Java Edition)
Hi everyone. I was wondering how to get/make a generated structure element using blocks from the mod rather than just vanilla Minecraft blocks. Does anyone know how I would achieve this?
Check out this topic here, it'll definitely help!

Ok, thank you very much.
You can make a preliminary version of your mod, build the structure in Minecraft using your own blocks, use mcedit to save the structure as a .schematic, and import this into your mod. This will not work if you haven't already added the material blocks to this mod.
I've tried this but the game crashed when I opened the test environment.
Thanks for trying though.
Could you make it in a modded world and import the mod to mc edit and export that into a generated structure and import it into mcreator without deleting the custom blocks so I could like copy a structure that had modded blocks and import it and it would work?
I don't think so.
