So I created a custom model and I import the json file into Mcreator and then I cant create the mob. So then I tried the same thing but using the java file, still didnt work.
How can I fix this
I am using MCreator 1.9.0
We need more details...
What exactly appeared when you tried importing the json file into Mcreator?
Anything with the java file?
Did nothing appear?
Yea, I imported my custom model and its skin from blockbench and then in the mob creation it doesn't show up
Fire up Minecraft with the mod, and look at it
Just experiment with it
Are you sure you have the .java model (json isn't for mobs)?
If it's in resources, it should show up in mob creation.
Ok so I was messing around in Blockbench and the only way I can have a java file is making my entity a block
I tried to make a custom model using both obj+mtl and json formats and this is what shows up (top image is obj+mtl, bottom image is json)
I dont know if the photos are working so the OBJ+MTL format is showing my model without a texture just pure black and scaled probably 3-5 blocks tall and wide, as the JSON format shows a missing texture in the center of the screen saying ts_zg:foxyhook#inventory.
