Sol III Core/API Project

What is Sol III?

Sol III is a Core mod for my future mods "and yours if you want" 
its destiny is to Unify basic materials and some functions for mod 
along with making them implement less content that repeats in many mods
but this core will not gonna stop on materials only, it will gonna contain a bit more
then just that but the whole list of ideas will be below.

 

       Planed Features

  1. Materials that are available between mods using OreDict
  2. My version of Energy Exchange tags in case someone will want to do something like Project E
  3. Cross mod compatible currency system "So that mods will be able to use one currency"
  4. Energy API "Considering"
  5. Additional functions and mechanics

 

So let's have small Q&A here

What's the point of that? We have unidict and we can make own materials!
True, But The ide of this mod is to unitize Materials, not in term of items and blocks
but more of World Generation. 
 

What gives you Idea for this mod?
I always hated that when you install new mod than you have to make
a new world or go to unexplored chunks to find new ores, this mods destiny
is to prevent mods from generating duplicated ores and in case of installing new mods,
it will gonna have basic materials already generated and ready to use.

How you gonna Unify ores than?
With Ore Dictionary.
Every material will gonna have declared OreDict entry to make it easier
other mods will only have to use OreDictionary Entries in recipes
and for Procedures, there is a specific block for that.

What OreDict entries will be added?
I will make a full list of added materials when I will have all of them ready

What Ores will be included?
IDK yet but gonna focus on typical real ores and some
fictional ones such as Cobalt or Platine

Will you add dust to ores?
Nope, I will stay with traditional ingots and mineral shapes however processing
them into dust will be an individual matter
But players will be able to process some of them in other 
mods such as Thermal Series

May I suggest something?
Sure, as long as I will be capable of adding it and
might be useful than I might add your idea

Will this be hard to use?
Don't think so but I will make a tutorial on How to use it

 

Ok I think that's all, I will make a list of entries when I get enough of them
So please tell me what yous thinking about this idea
also, note that for now it's just an idea.

Great idea! :D

I don't mind duplicate ores from many mods, but it seems like this mod will bring more integration between mods (like the energy exchange, currency, etc.), so good luck with it! :)

I don't mind duplicate ores too since there is Unidict but hate when you need to go to not generated chunks to find new ores from the mod that was added after creating a new world, so the idea is to actually make this ore in case new mods will be added and yep ist made to give better integrations too, I think I will make currency have 2 forms
