Hello, I'm working on learning how to make structures with the structure block, and I am following the tutorial. I did search the forum, can't find anything... maybe I'm not using the right words?
Using: https://mcreator.net/wiki/how-make-structure
I am at the point where I bring up the dialog box "Please select the structure to import:" and it has a dropdown selector that has nothing in it.
The path to my broken_wither_chamber.nbt is D:\.minecraft\saves\Structures\generated\minecraft\structures\
So I know it exists. And yes, I tried copying this to the default minecraft installation directory
Are you importing a structure you made in Minecraft or in MCreator mod playtest?
I built it in regular minecraft
Okay, for any new users that have this problem:
In MCreator, hit "Build & Run" in the file menu bar, then "Run Client"
Build the stuff there.
Or do import structures instead of import structure from minecraft and then find it in .minecraft/saves/[world]/generated/minecraft/structures
(When I got it working, I had the same results as I did from guessing, and it's time to figure out the next step)
Hey Raol? Do you have a email? I think I should export alloy:reforged and send it to you bc your structures are really cool and I hope you can build some for me?
@CitrusThings Do you mean you fixed it or not?
If you can't find any structures in the dropdown it probably is because before making a structure mod element you have to import the structure file. To do so, go to the resources tab (where are the textures), then to the structures and import your structure from that tab.
After you imported it you should be able to find it in the dropdown
@crispy_chips Actually, I'm not that good at building (I still make square houses XD)
Anyway, my email is raolmodder@gmail.com (I lost the old one)
Just don't ask too complex structures XD
This Was Very Helpful Thank You.
