I was wondering whether or not a plugin that could allow you to change the order items go in the creative inventory is possible? I know you can change which mod elements go over others but it would be really helpful if you could put them and any Minecraft item anywhere you wanted in the designated creative tab. For instance, moving a new plank type to be grouped with the other vanilla planks, instead of just at the bottom of the list.
If someone could make this for Forge 1.14.4 especially, that would be much appreciated! :D
Plugins don’t support everything. They only support new procedure blocks and AI task blocks, new generator and triggers.

Why would you need plugin for feature that is supported already in core?
Did you try Workspace -> Edit element order in creative tabs ?
Klemen the problem with vanilla creative tabs for now is that between 2 modded blocks/items you can choose their order but you will never be able to place stone next to a modded block or move the modded block next to the stone you see?
This is not even possible to my knowledge
I don't think this is possible, I have never seen a mod altering the order of vanilla items or putting modded items between them
From my understands it might be possible with the help of ASM or mixins, but that's advanced java...
Even if it would be possible it would break with multiple mods doing this.
