Topic category: Minecraft mod ideas exchange
I have thought Minecraft needed a cave update so I did it instead. Also any ideas that aren’t to advanced I read in here might be added to the mod.

what about a tomb? like underground you could find a tomb somewhere with a mummy boss in it!
I’ll try to add mummy’s and tombs. But right now I’m trying to add dragons and dragon caves
You could add Heated iron armor and the way to obtain it would be to smelt iron armor and it would give off a red glow so you could see in the dark
Wait a minute. How will I make a mummy model? I can't figure out mummy models but I made a dragon model.
I'll try adding heated iron.
Also I am putting the credit for all the amazing ideas on the forum here to the mod page.
You can’t actually make the heated iron armor glow red light though, (Because of the limitations in Minecraft’s code).
That’s fine but I’ve been trying to decide if I should update Cavecraft to mc 1.15.2 but I need to know if 1.15 is more popular than 1.12 for modding in 2020. Its just I miss water logging from 1.14 and 1.15 also in 1.13+ I would be easier to add a water idea. Maybe a raft or something. I would use dolphins grace to make a raft or something like that actually move fast on water. Or even maybe a lot of new coral types or mushrooms underwater.
I can confirm I eventually will update to 1.14 or 1.15 it’s just I have played minecraft 1.7.10, 1.12.2, 1.13, 1.14, 1.15 and even 1.16 snapshot. Once mcreator updates to mc 1.16 I will use 1.16. In 1.16 the nether is amazing and it fixes lots of glitches and bugs in minecraft.
1.12.2 is more popular in the modded community because it is one of the most stable versions and some very popular mods are on that version and refuse to update for some reason.
1.15.2 is also very stable too because the update was focused around bugfixing. 1.15.2 has fixed the most amount of bugs so far. More than 1.16 has.
The versions are both great. Can’t you just make a copy of the workspace and update one of them to 1.15.2?
Sure I’ll make a separate cavecraft cave update: cavecraft: cave update+ which will be 1.15.2. Also how will I duplicate my workspace cavecraft?
Also how will I get the sounds for the cyclops boss I’m adding in cavecraft 1.3
you can make heated iron glow by adding a invisible block that iluminates and spawns on the armor tick rate.
You can get the sounds from pre existing mobs like the Ravager. Most people won’t even notice.
The Ravager makes a roaring sound btw.
Also, to duplicate your workspace, go into the workspace folder and copy and paste the workspace.
But make sure that you don’t make another mod site. The rules say that if you are to make another version, put it in the same site.
