How can i edit the code of a vanilla block?

How can i change the code of a vanilla block. I want to code my own mod but it keeps crashing everytime i decompile the workspace, so mcreator is all i have.

Changing the code of a vanilla block is useless. 
1. Why do you want to do it?
2. You're not allowed to distribute any (modified) code of Minecraft. So unless you want to keep your mod to yourself, I unadvice you to do it.
