How do i make a big mob without lagging the game?

Hi!I'm making an Underwater Exploration Mob and I wanted to make a giant mob,and I did,I think he's just a little smaller or as the size as an Enderdragon,he's working well, but everytime I spawn him that game lags so much it becomes impossible to play until the mob walks away the screen, anyone can help me with that?

Well, I was making a huge boss myself but the game kept on crashing. Later, I realized it was actually not a rendering problem, but a hitbox problem. In java, hold f3+b to see the hitbox and you might find your hitbox huge. So I reduced the size of my hitbox so my boss has 1 weak spot sort of thing, and the hitbox was much smaller so the lag was reduced like crazy. Maybe you can try adding your own weak spot or something by reducing the hitbox. Good luck on your aquatic exploration game!
