How do I edit my workspace folder to include blockstates for custom models?

How do I edit my workspace folder to include blockstates for custom models?

Since Mcreator does not have a way to include blockstates for my custom models, I am trying to find a way to do it manually. If anyone knows their way around the workspace folder and would know how to edit them so that they include blockstates, I would be very grateful!
