I want to make underground mushroom biome (really overdone, I know) and I made a creature that I want to spawn there
I set it to spawn in the biome and in biome settings I set it to spawn there, but it doesnt
I tried setting spawn rate to max to see if it even spawns and it doesnt
Its supposed to be a creature but I tried to change it to monster or ambient to see if it helps, but it doesnt
Getting anything to work underground can be tricky- for passive mobs, the game only really checks stuff on the surface. I haven't really looked into mob spawning, but I would imagine you'd have to either make the mob spawn in darkness, (in which case it would behave like any other hostile mob), or, create some sort of special block or system within the biome itself that can spawn the entity. The natural spawning system for passive mobs is probably only intended for surface biomes.
