This mod adds a variety of magical elements to Minecraft, including new weapons and armor, enchantments, structures, and more!
Here are some major additions, some of which you can see in the mod pictures:
- Enchantments: I added about a dozen enchantments to try out. A few of these include Cleaving, which halves your target's HP after each strike, Sculkwalker, which lets you create sculk around you when you walk, and Strip Mining, which lets you mine out 2x1 tunnels much faster.
- Weapons
- Mage's Sword: Smithed using a diamond sword and Mage's Sigil, deals heavy damage and has a right-click special ability to gain stacking Strength buffs using your xp
- Mage's Crossbow: Rapid-fire crossbow that uses spectral arrows as ammo. Smithed with a Sorcery Core and a crossbow, its arrows also have a chance to summon lightning or explode on contact
- Mage's Staff: staff used by the apprentices to mages and sorcerers. On right-click, it fires either an exploding fireball, lightning, or gives you some buffs.
- Sorcerer's Staff: staff used by powerful wizards and sorcerers, on right-click it will fire either lightning, dragon's breath, an exploding fireball, or a wither skull.
- Excisor: one of 4 legendary items, the Excisor will gain a level of sharpness for each illager killled. You need to kill a Warden to get one of the ingredients though...
- Armor: The mage armor, made by upgrading iron armor with mage sigils, gives you buff when worn and has decent armor stats.
- Magical Items
- Heart: Expensive item that adds 1 permanent heart to its user.
- Philosopher's Stone: exotic item that converts iron and copper blocks into gold, emerald, diamond, or netherite.
- Elixir of Life: Elixir that when drunk, gives the drinker powerful buffs that last until they die.
- Structures
- Deep Crypt: Found underground, the Deep Crypts are relics of a mysterious long-dead civilization. They contain valuable loot, however are very dangerous to explore...
- Enchanter's Library: An underground sanctuary for the mages and sorcerers of ancient times. Perfectly outfitted for those who wish to dabble in magic.
- Illager Altar: Altar where Evokers and their lackeys perform dark magic and offer sacrifices to their twisted deities. Contains good loot, but only proficient warriors can hope to survive the evoker and its minions...
- End Temple: An isolated shrine in the End used by old hermit-wizards to practice their magical arts. Before they left, however, they made sure that their valuables were well-protected...
- Crystal Outpost: Some ancient civilization created these outposts throughout the Nether to mine Lazhward for its magical properties, but these days dangerous monsters prowl the site...
- Illusioner Hideout: A wayward black-magic wizard called an Illusioner and his apprentices have risen up a small area of land and now live there. Despite being dangerous, it's the only place where you can get certain important items...
- Vanilla additions
- Diamond can now be found in the Nether in the form of blackstone diamond ore.
- Spectral arrows, notch apples, and totems of undying are now craftable.
- There are 21 new advancements to get, some of which award XP.
- Purpur now generates in the End, and a new decorative purpur block, polished purpur, is available. You can cut raw purpur into its decorative variants with a stonecutter.
- I added 6 books that show most of the crafting recipes for the new stuff. They're made with a book, lapis, and 1-2 other materials.
- The Warden now drops a Warden Heart, which doesn't do much at the moment but if I can think of something I'll add a function.
- Made a bee loot table becuase why not. It now drops flowers and/or honey.
And more to come...
