Welcome to Christmas land!

This Mod adds many new features including:

New Christmas themed Biome!

New Mobs!

New Boss!

New Structures!

Several new themed building block sets

New Armor

New tool Sets

New Ore

New crop

New Foods

This mod is created to be a non-religious style Christmas theme with gingerbread and candy canes as the main theme. Everything is designed to fit in rather seamlessly with your vanilla experience. Includes both early and late game gear as well as a large boss structure. Find the biome, make new gear, make your own gingerbread house! Beware the gingerbread men, they are quite cranky at having had one of their legs and arms eaten but are still very very fast. Lurking in his high tower, away from the festivities lies in wait your final opponent.

DEPENDENCIES:

To get the best experience, I highly recommend also adding JEI to your modded game to get the recipes as there is no guidebook or wiki yet and the game will not automatically tell you what you can make or not, but with some experimentation, you should be able to figure out many of the recipes.

This is my first mod, I hope to create one for more holidays in the future.

Hello mooredesign13,

I hope this message finds you well. We are in the process of establishing a Mod Developing Studio and would like to extend an invitation for you to join our team. Having reviewed your work, particularly on Christmas Land, we believe your skills align well with our vision and goals.

Our team is focused on collaborative development, where each member can contribute their expertise while benefiting from increased visibility. By joining us, you would not only be working with other skilled professionals but also gaining exposure through our established presence on platforms like CurseForge. This is a great opportunity for you to grow your own brand while contributing to exciting projects.

If you're interested in discussing this opportunity further, we would be happy to arrange a time to speak in more detail. We look forward to potentially working together. (Discord to communicate: gertet)

Best regards,
Jenkimods and Tenderestbee174

Hi Jenkimods and Tenderestbee174,

Thanks. I'll think it over. I am actually a professional jeweler by trade; I make a lot of geeky and pop culture themed pieces. The modding I doing this for fun with my kids who are also programming their own mods... My 12 year old son is working on an incredibly ambitious mod right now :) I have a few more that I am working on as well. Still learning the ins and outs of this program.

Any feedback in particular on Chrsitmas land?

So specifically how does it work (your proposal that is)? I do not have a discord account but I suppose I should get one.

Cheers,
mooredesign13

Hi mooredesign13,

Thanks for the reply! It’s great that you’re modding with your kids—sounds like a fun project. Regarding Christmas Land, I see a lot of potential in your work. The atmosphere is great, and I think adding more interactive elements and depth could really elevate it.

I’m reaching out because I believe you have the talent to take your projects even further. Our studio is focused on helping modders like you grow and improve, offering feedback, resources, and a collaborative environment. There’s no pressure to commit, but by joining, you’d get the support you need to refine and expand your ideas.

If you’re open to chatting more, feel free to reach out! Setting up Discord would help with communication too, and we’d be happy to assist.

Best regards,
Jenkimods and Tenderestbee174

Sure, sounds like a good opportunity. Particularly as I am still learning and getting some advice from more experienced modders could be handy from time to time ;) MCreator is pretty fantastic but it certainly has a few idiosyncrasies that only experience can help with.

So what do I do to join?

Awesome to hear you’re interested! We’re happy to have you on board and help out wherever we can, especially with any MCreator quirks you run into.

To get started:

If you haven’t already, go ahead and create a Discord account—it’s where we handle most of our communication. Once you’ve done that, let me know, and we’ll send you an invite to the studio’s server.
You can also share any of your current modding projects (like Christmas Land) for feedback, and we’ll help you with anything you need.
As for roles, feel free to let us know if there’s anything specific you’d like to focus on, like art, coding, or general design, and we’ll fit you into the team’s workflow.
Looking forward to working with you!

It looks like there was an error with the Discord handle you provided—it might be missing something. To make it easier, could you try adding me to your friends list instead? My Discord handle is gertet.

Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to add friends on Discord:

Open Discord: Launch the Discord app or website.
Go to Friends: On the left sidebar, click the "Friends" tab (the little person icon).
Click on “Add Friend”: In the top right, you’ll see an “Add Friend” button—click it.
Enter Discord Handle: In the box, type my Discord handle: gertet.
Send Friend Request: After typing the handle, click "Send Friend Request."
Once you’ve added me, we can connect easily!
