Introducing the new Minecraft mod for CurseForge: "Prehistoric Legacy"! This updated version, designed for Minecraft 1.20.1, is a complete remake of the original mod released for version 1.12.2. While several species have been discarded in this alpha phase, we have included exciting features and mechanics to make this an exceptional experience.
In this mod, you will find four carnivorous species:
Velociraptor
Dilophosaurus
Tyrannosaurus Rex
Spinosaurus
Tylosaurus
Pteranodon
Carnotaurus
Additionally, we have added four herbivorous species:
Brachiosaurus
Triceratops
Stegosaurus
Gallimimus
Dodo
Archelon
Parasaurolophus
Each species boasts unique abilities and mechanics that set them apart. For example, Dilophosaurus has a new special weapon, Rex wields a dagger that allows jitter-clicking, Spinosaurus provides a chestplate that grants increased water speed, and Gallimimus includes a totem that grants a temporary burst of speed for escaping.
The Stegosaurus, on the other hand, has a special axe crafted from its distinctive spines. To obtain the necessary plates to create this axe, you must wait for the Stegosaurus to shake itself and drop a plate. The exact timing of this process is unpredictable, requiring patience to acquire them. Triceratops, if bitten by a zombie, becomes ill, but by feeding it berries, you can tame it, and it will follow you as a loyal companion.
Tyrannosaurus Rex can be tamed from a young age using raw meat, but once it grows, you will need to tame it again. A notable difference between a tamed and untamed Rex is that the tamed one is smaller in size.
Velociraptors can be tamed from a young age if you give them the weakness effect plus feed them Brachiosaurus meat
Additionally, we have added a steampunk-style incubator and fossil extractor. To use the extractor, place a fossil, bone block, or unusual amber in the top slot and a glass bottle in the bottom slot. The incubator requires blood, provided by the extractor, in the first slot, and eggs in the second slot to yield dinosaur eggs.
If you prefer not to revive the dinosaurs, you can activate the "gamerule" called "doDinoSpawn," and the dinosaurs will no longer appear in the main world (Overworld).
Get ready to explore the age of dinosaurs in Minecraft with our exciting "Prehistoric Legacy" mod!
Nice. Nice mod!
