Macbook not able to open macerator

I need help downloading Mcreator to my MacBook, I've followed the instructions and tried updating my Macbook, reinstalling the application multiple times, and moving it to different areas on my Macbook but they all end up with the same error saying "you cant open the application "MCreator" because this application is not supported on this Mac." I must be missing a step or something because i have tried eberthingf i know to fix this and i cannot get it to work.
