An improvement to the game's main ores
MZ's Better Ores adds new functions to existing ores, among other new ores, to the game. It's worth remembering that the mod is in its first version and we intend to add many Vanilla features in the future.
We've now added Enderite ore, found in The End, which can make your tools extremely durable. Another notable ore is Cryolite, which, when smelted with other heatable materials, speeds up the smelting process.
Below, you can see the initial version of all the physical additions:
Changes
— Now, the Enderite Upgrade can't turn your Netherite items unbreakable.
— Amethyst Ore drop reduced from 3 to 2 Amethyst Shards.
— Average amount of Amethyst Ore per vein reduced by 1.
— Changed the name of some Cliorite items.
— Enderite Ore drop reduced from 4 to 1 Enderite Nuggets.
— Changed the texture of Enderite Ore.
— Cliorite Ore is now less rare.
— Some craftings have been changed.
Additions
— Added Enderite armor, which is better than Netherite.
— Added the 'Velocium' ore, which can be used to craft speed-focused armor and tools. Run like never before!
— Added 'Kunzite' ore, capable of quadrupling and turning cement into concrete without having to be a sucker putting them in water for hours.
— Added the 'Lithium' ore, mined from Kunzite, capable of duplicating some redstone items.
— Added Amethyst tools, which are stronger than iron and weaker than diamond.
— Added blocks for all ores in the game.
— New craftings based on Cliorite have been added.
Bug fixes
— Fixed some bugs in the generation of Icy Caves.
