Is it possible to make mod for Minecraft 1.14?

Is it possible to make a mod for version 1.14? I look around and I see few mods for newest version, so I wonder is it possible or not.

We have to ait the Recommanded Forge version because without it, Klemen can't make a version of Mcreator to the 1.14.x.
