I have specified repair items for all of the tools in my mod, and when I try to repair them in an anvil, none of them work. [I am developing for 1.12.2, not 1.14.x]
Issue comments
If you plan to drop support for 1.12.2, I kindly request that the following features be implemented, if possible, for 1.12.2 before dropping it:
Better flying mobs and pathfinding
Fixing the armor slot check issue
Repair items for tools
Door and slab blocks
Better projectiles for items and mobs
Workspace options adapt to the target Minecraft version
Fix attack speed for swords
Leaf decay options and possibly separating leaves and blocks as mod elements?
I accept that 1.12.2 support is being dropped, but I am not updating the mod to 1.14.4 until it is finished for 1.12.2. Most of the above features are necessary for me to finish the 1.12.2 version of the mod. All I ask is that as many of these as possible get implemented for 1.12.2 before you drop support.
Also it kind of felt like you were demanding that I port to 1.14.4 and it hurt me a little but it's fine.
I started my mod to express myself and I will do everything in my power to keep it going [even if my power is basically nothing.]
I would gladly implement all you listed but I have limited resources for development (in terms of time and money) and developing for outdated version is not viable. I will do my best to implement features in 1.12.2 too, but there will be less and less of them with time.
Hello Klemen,
First of all, thanks for everything !
I'm modding in 1.12.2 as well and it's for a huge modpack, of which many mods are not updated to 1.14.
I would be greatly thankful if you could implement "repair item" or a way to make an anvil-type recipe (supporting damaged items which is not possible in a crafting table) =o)
Have a good day ! =o)
1.12.2 does not support this feature.
We are dropping 1.12.2 support too as Forge did this recently so update to 1.14.4.
