when ever i make a mob do melee it will hit the thing i tell it to attack but then the game crashes and when i log back on my mob is gone can some one pleas fix it i want to make my mobs do melee attacks

i know how to make it attack it is when they attack the game crashes but thanks
Do you give a advancement when they attack in any circumstance?

i found the error i made the mob a creature
Update to 2020.3 and the problem will be gone. Please, please, stop using outdated versions and then opening confusing bug reports.
