Topic category: Feature requests and ideas for MCreator
Here are several block bases I think should get added over the next several MCreator versions.
1. Doors - Added in 2020.4
2. Fence Gates - Added in a 2020.4
3. Pressure plates with type:
Wooden - Triggered by all entities
Stone - Triggered by players and mobs
Weighted - Number input for number of entities required for full signal
Custom - Select specific entities and players will trigger it.
Activation sound determined in advanced properties, wooden default.
Also, regardless of type , you should be able to determine how many ticks the pressure plate stays active for once activated before it shuts off.
4. Button with number input in ticks for how long it is activated.
Checkbox for "Activated by Projectiles?)
Activation sound determined in advanced properties, wooden default
5. Log would automatically rotate like vanilla logs, and would have several items: log, stripped log, wood, stripped wood in one mod element. Logs when right-clicked with axe would turn into stripped variant and this also applies to wood. The log block base also would have strip sound definable in advanced properties. Textures would be mapped for each vaiant: Left would be stripped side, Front would be bark, Top would be the unstripped top, and Bottom would be the stripped top. Other properties and all crafting recipes would need to be manually defined. Example here.
Also, On sound and off sound in advanced properties for custom sounds when door opened or closed for example.
Doors, trapdoors and fence gates use the on sound when opened and off sound when closed.
Buttons/pressure plates use on sound when activated and off sound when deactivated.
Pressure plates and buttons were definitely on my list of most wanted blocks as well, but the log choice I didn't think of. It wood be really nice to be able to create custom logs bc all the ones I try to use just let the leaves fade :\. These are some important suggestions.
To stop leaves from fading, make a tag element named logs in all lowercase, and select your log block.
I like this idea, but I also don't get the log idea. You can already do that just with multiple blocks and like MincraftBoi said just add a tag.
