Item nbt variables

Upvotes: 2
Issue description

In 1.8.3 you added many more variables (world and dimension variables and block and entity nbt variables ). Now a lot of things are possible :D

It would be cool if you add item nbt variables too. We could make items that change form after a few time, items that are bound to locations, special enchantments and much more.

One can not add NBT directly to item, but we can add itemstack NBT procedure blocks.

What's the difference?

(I'm sorry for my late reply)

ItemStack is stack instance of one Item, there is only one instance of Item in RAM when Minecraft is launched and item stack is a descriptor of state for a specific item.

This feature will be added in 1.8.4 so I am closing this ticket now.

I haven't understood the difference yet, but I 'm happy you will add these variables in the next version :D

Anyway, I see that now the name of the next update is 1.9.0. Does this mean that we are near to 2.0.0?
