Replacing Entity Code

So I'm trying to make an entity and then replace it's code with my code. The only problem is that, every time I try to make this entity, it doesn't work and when I try to open it, it says it was created when MCreator wasn't expecting it. (Or something like this). I can't create that entity but I can create any other entity I need to make but for some reason this entity won't work. Please help me!

It says "This mod does not have saved instance. If you want to make it editable, you need to remake it. You probably see this because you have updated MCreator, and your mod was made before saving was possible."

What does this mean and how do I fix it?
