cool idea, i think
I like the idea but... kinda unoriginal?
Yeah, a lot of people made that kind of mod before you.
Even me. https://mcreator.net/modification/50924/mineral-galore-tons-new-gems-and-metals
It's true, it's not very original, but that doesn't mean you can't do it :)
(said by a person who made a mod with this theme at least 5 times... XD... Even if those mods eventually changed theme)
ooof I made this kind of mod before and it got MOTW: https://mcreator.net/modification/51661/alloy-snapshot-saga
same, but I got 5× more downloads than you XD
lol because you have 5x more ores than me
maybe 10x
Depends of how much you have
Yet I'm at 48 ores, including dimension duplicates (like sphalerite spawning in both overworld and Layer-1) but excluding the useless stones like Gneiss
Quantity doesn't matter much, the important is quality :)
Your mods (Mineral Galore and Alloy) probably didn't get MOTW just for the amount of ores. They won for the way they were implemented, for how much could they affect the gameplay and for how much creative you got. Otherwise, the best mod ever would be a random mod that adds a thousand of randomly named ores, maybe created using the ore pack quick tool which will be added in the next update...
(And yes, I only realized the importance of quality while developing RaolCraft Omega - just look at my previous mods... XD)
I think that my mod adds like only 8 ores and 9 alloys... XD
Anyways, I played my mod in survival and I realized how bugged it was. Then I decided to remake it
Very huge!
