Is it possible to add a smelting recipe that a needs a precise item as a fuel to work? Like if you don't use charcoal as a fuel you won't be able to smelt this item, i tried with procedures but the only info i can seem to get when something is smelted is the output not the input or the fuel.

I think you can't do that with a vanilla furnace.
so it's a game limitation or is it just the tool?

that's a shame really, i would have loved to make an ores mod that let's you make alloys by putting 2 ingots in the 2 slots of the furnace, thanks for the quick response though, thumbs up
Actually I made one, but I used a custom furnace I made using procedures. There are tutorials for this on youtube.
Could you put a photo here of how did you do it?
