Some basic tutorials for getting certain items in the new update:

Tutorial on how to get Cream of Tartar:

The new update adds in a slew of new foods, and I wanted things to be a little more on the realistic side, you can get many of recipes using JEI, as I will not be covering them here, but I'll cover some stuff that JEI can't help with. Until I finish working on the in-game book tutorial!

For starters, here's how you make Red Wine (this is useful for Cream of Tartar, which is used in other foods)
First, you need to craft yourself a mashing barrel, to do so, here's the recipe:

After that, combine it with 6 grapes to get yourself a barrel full with grapes. Like so:

Then you need to place the barrel somewhere in the world, and start jumping (essentially stomping) on the grapes to make them a mushed goo, (this is called a Must), the barrel will change from the first image, to the second

With that done, right click on the barrel with a bucket, you'll get yourself a bucket of must, and then craft yourself a normal barrel like so:

Place the barrel in the world, then right  click it with the bucket to place the must in it, and cover it (right click) with a cloth sheet (look up the recipe in JEI). Give it some time for the must to ferment into red wine, it will turn from this;

to this:

After that, simply right click the barrel once it's fermented, to take the sheet away, you'll be left with a barrel full with red wine, right click it with an empty bucket to collect the wine, and you'll get yourself Cream of Tartar which is used for various ingredients in the game.

Tutorial on how to get Yeast: (look up the recipes in JEI)

Getting yeast is rather simple, all what you have to do is to craft yourself an empty jar, combine it with water and grapes, then you'll get yourself a grape-water mixture, place the new jar in the world and wait for it to ferment, after some time, you will see the jar change from what it was (on the left) to this (on the right):

Then simply break the jar (or put it in a crafting bench) and you'll get yourself the yeast!

Tutorial on general drying and fermenting:

This is not so much of a tutorial and more so of an info guide, simply put, many new foods need to be dried if you want to use them in recipes, like peppers into dried peppers, and tobacco into dried tobacco, you can look through JEI to find the recipes for crafting of "Peppers on Ground", "Tobacco Leaves on Ground", after you craft them, place the block in the world and wait for them to dry, make sure they can see the sunlight. As for fermenting (like fermenting cucumber to pickles, or the vanilla extract), simply put the block in the world and wait as well. As for the vodka mixture (Which is how you make vanilla extract), you need a Still, you can also look for the crafting recipe in JEI.

I apologise for the heavy relying on JEI, all this will be fixed at some point as I finish working on the in-game book guide. Thank you for understanding!

Ever wanted Minecraft to be more RPG-esq? Enhance your world with items and more mobs? Mix up Minecraft with various RPG elements? Then welcome to Overmod! A mod that adds in vanity and useful items, blocks, and mobs inspired by many RPG "worlds" from DnD, Baulder's Gate, to animes like Danmachi, Overlord..etc

While that was the original intent of this mod, it slowly grew to be a mod of things I wish were in Minecraft as well, the main focus is still RPG based elements, but it will also extend to new blocks, biomes and stuff to further make your world experience better.

This mod is still in early progress, more content will be added. But there's enough content for you to glimpse at what this mod will become! If you'd like more frequent updates, check out what's on the WIP list, or even suggest your own ideas, feel free to join the Discord server! https://discord.gg/bG7p9A3

This mod is also suggested to be used with iChun's mod Morph, so you can "pick" one of the characters you'd like and play as it! (What are characters? Keep scrolling!), as well as RPG HUD, and JEI (for recipes).
Here are some of the content of the mod:
- Mobs:

- Minotaur (2 Variations) (Only 1 variation is showed here) (spawns in savanna biomes, mesa, and deserts.)

- Goblin (4 Variations) (Only 1 variation is showed here) (soawns in forests and tagia)

- Kobold (Spawns in extreme-hills mostly)

Lamia! Spawns in the swamps:

Wendigo:

Nothic:

Sirenhead:

Dryad:

Tial, a new character mob/mini-dungeon-boss:

Stoneloids:

- Various custom modeled characters! (Currently, character mobs don't have much of a use, but I have plans to make new villages and have them spawn in there. )

 Some more elements:

- Bead of Nourishment: Restores all your hunger.
- Golden Coin
- Waterskin
- 'Runic' blocks

- Vanity dungeon cocktail items/treasure.
- New ore (Jade)

- New swords (Some are 3D modeled, some are not)

More and more items, blocks and mobs are planned to be added, some original some inspired by other games/shows. If you'd like to suggest anything, feel free to do so in the Discord server or in the comments!

Currently planned:
- More DnD items and mobs.
- Danmachi, Log Horizon, Overlord based monsters.

- More random dungeon cocktail

- More custom modeled blocks and tools.

- More of everything in general!

- More biomes! More plants, and more trees!

- Boss mobs, I have big plans for this ;)

While it's small now, I have quite a big of a list of stuff to add! As this is my first mod, it may be a bit buggy, but I'll be ironing out any issues as soon as I can.
Currently I have no plans to update it beyond 1.12.2, please don't ask. I'll let you know when and if I will update it.

- Proudly made with MCreator! Despite all the limitations, I still find it quite the amazing tool that allows newbies who have little knowledge in coding, make mods such as this! While putting most of my focus on modelling and texturing.
If I were to update the mod to more recent versions of minecraft (1.15+), I'll probably code it from scratch, as I'll be gradually learning Java!

- Some sounds are from Zasplast.com

I hope you like what you see! if you have any questions feel free to comment them!

Known issues:

- Sometimes trees are floating in the custom biomes, this will be fixed in a later update.

- Bag of Holding and Bag of Holding More Than it Should does not work as intended, please do not use until further notice

Changelog

Overmod 2.0.0, this update includes:
+ New biomes
+ More fantasy-like items (currently some are not obtainable in survival, there are special plans for the procuring of these items)

+ Plenty of new blocks

+ New character mobs
+ New decoration based blocks

+ And much more!

for the 3D model (weapons and block) try adjusting the display in the model config (if you made your model in blockbench it's simply an option in the top right) so they fit in the GUis and don't overflow it otherwise your mod is really good and give me a Grimoire of Gaia feeling :)

Hey! I meant to make the display of the weapons a bit bigger than the box of the GUI, as any smaller is practically removing all the details from it. But I'll take your point in consideration, thank you!

For a first mod, I can only say this is a amazing mod and you have made very nice models and textures! Congratulations for winning the MOTW! :D

Congratulations for winning Mod of the Week :)

Your mod was also promoted on our official subreddit (https://www.reddit.com/r/MCreator/) and Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/MCreatorModMaker/).

Wow! These models, textures... just epic! But you realle should improve the logo.
