Hi,
I already post this plugin into another topic, but the topic was general and not specific, so I repost it here. I will be able to give update and have feedbacks.
My Resource Pack Generator for Minecraft 1.16.x allows you to create resource packs for Minecraft Java Edition for the 1.16.x.
You can:
- Create block and item textures directly into MCreator
- Change Minecraft item names
- Create armor textures with MCreator
Some informations:
- For the armour, you will have to rename the head and body items for helmet and chestplate. (For example, diamond_head -> diamond_helmet and diamond_body -> diamond_chestplate)
- All workspace settings are useless.
- To put your own logo, take your picture and name it "pack.png". After, take it and put inside the .zip file (Not into the assets folder.)
- Custom sounds work, but only if you put them directly in this folder (MCreatorWorkspace/yourWorkspace/src/main/assets/minecraft/sounds After create the well subfolder(s))
- To add other texture files (entity, GUI, ect.), put them in this global folder MCreatorWorkspace/yourWorkspace/src/main/assets/minecraft/textures After, create the folder you need (entity, gui, etc.)
- Textures are marked as not supported (in red), but it's caused by the "Others" section (I don't support it).

So as I said at the beginning, I will update it to allow the custom sounds and add more functionalities. If you need or want something specifically, just ask it, and I will put my efforts in this feature (if it’s possible).

If you click on the big green button, this is not supposed to do something to your computer because it only downloads the generator.

Hi, new guy here
I have already my personal custom resource pack with new title background and music. So i copied all to /src/ ... as you sayd but when i run, it not working. i copied yout plugin into mcreator folder (where .exe is) and /user/.mcreator/plugin folder. so still not working. Help please
using last snapshot BTW 1.15.2 v
I have some changes to do with the plugin for the second snapshot (due to some changes). Try with the first snapshot.
How to add it to MCreator?
you go to preference settings, plugins, and load plugin.
Then, if it still works (I didn’t test it again with the pre-release and the release), you click on DataPacks
adding normalmap support would be appreciated
What do you mean by normalmap?
how does this work i can't find a way to make textures it only says i can do "import ogg sound".
You can import textures as normally, and it will work. It says you can't import texture because I don't export textures inside the "Others" section, so MCreator thinks I don't support textures.
Nice to see you taking care of all your plugins! :D
But you can't make ANY textures. only sounds. So basically its a "Sound Pack"
When will texture making be added?
