IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT:
For update versions beyond version 1.3.5, you will also need to download the 2.0.0 version of the GeckoLib Mod. I have a link to their download page here:
https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/geckolib/files/3034409
In this update, I had the help of Holly to make me some of the models. She is a very talented modeler and she even made her own Pikmin mod for version 1.16, which some of you guys were asking for so I will leave a link to her mod as well:

About this Mod
Ever wanted to fight Mobs with an army of cute little people? Probably not... but here is a mod that lets you do that anyways. Besides, you never know what you want until it is shown to you.
This is a fan-made mod based on the Nintendo video game series, Pikmin. In this mod, I hope to recreate the general feel of playing Pikmin in Minecraft to hopefully introduce more people into this criminally under-rated franchise. You will be able to call, throw and cling Pikmin onto enemies like in the real game. Currently, this mod contains the four basic Pikmin types: red, yellow, blue, and purple; each having different abilities that will be useful in different situations and circumstances you will encounter in the world of Minecraft. Future versions will add more enemies and Pikmin from the franchise.
Brief Overview
Here, I will briefly list the important basics of the mod. For further details regarding this mod, please check out the Google Sites page I have made: https://sites.google.com/view/pikminmodinfo/home

Acknowledgments
First and foremost, I would like to thank Blue Commander for creating the Player Head Tricks data pack, the code of which I used to automatically tame Pikmin to their owners (the nearest player when they spawn). Without his work, this mod would not have been possible. The link to his YouTube account and the data pack are listed here:

Secondly, I acknowledge that I am not the first to make a Pikmin mod and that there have been other Pikmin Minecraft mods created before. However, I do declare that I have not used any of their code or assets in the creation of this mod; I just wanted to acknowledge them out of courtesy. The links to the two other Pikmin mods are found here:

Lastly, I would like to give a big THANKYOU to the guys over at the GeckoLib modding team and itayfeder for their awesome work and making Minecraft modding animations possible. A link to the Feder's GeckoLib Plugin can be found here:

Hey guys, just to let you know. I have now created an email account where you can email me bugs that you may have come across: milstonemodder@gmail.com
Please send me an email in addition to filing the form on my Google sites page. This is so that I can communicate with you on further details on how to replicate the glitch. I am currently having trouble replicating the glitch that has been documented recently so if the user can email me that would be great. Thank you so much for the feed back guys, it has been very helpful since I am the only developer for this mod and I have limited time to test everything.
I found another issue: While traveling in a mineshaft, I've been getting this error message as I approached Minecarts w/ chests with my Pikmin following me:
The game crashed whilst ticking entity
Error: java.lang.ClassCastException: net.minecraft.entity.item.minecart.ChestMinecartEntity cannot be cast to net.minecraft.entity.LivingEntity
Exit Code: -1
Thanks for letting me know. I have been pretty busy in the last few weeks because of a research project I have been working on so the mod development process has been delayed a lot. I have already fixed a lot of the bugs mentioned above but I really wanted to also add new content as well as fixing bugs for the next update.
Yo this is a pretty epic mod. The mechanics work pretty well, and other than a few glitches (which Im sure you're aware of, at least for the few I found), works pretty well too. The textures could be improved, primarily with the gloves, but the issues in the mod can be easily ignored with how well the mod actually plays. Im exited to see what'll come out of future updates.
This looks amazing! I was originally going to make a pikmin mod awhile back and maybe continue it but after seeing this I dont think I need too. The functionality is really good and with a good team of modelers and textureres Im sure this could be amazing. I wish you luck with the mod and I will make sure to keep checking back in with this in the future. If you want my input on what I think would be cool for the mod feel free to ask but I wont bother you with random suggestions this early in development.
As a fan of Pikmin, I'm super happy that someone finally made a Pikmin mod that works with modern Minecraft! I've been playing around with this mod for the past few days, and it's been a lot of fun! There's not a lot to it so far, which is understandable given that it's early in development, but I would argue that the foundation is very strong! The combat is already super fun even with just the normal Minecraft mobs.
I have a few bugs and suggestions to note: https://pastebin.com/Fzv1d7UR
Ultimately, this is a mod with a lot of potential, and I'm looking forward to seeing where it goes from here! Good luck :D
Hey its good to hear that you enjoyed the mod and thank you for your advice. I just want to say that many of glitches and suggestions that you have mentioned I have already thought of. At the time of the upload, I had little idea of how to fix the glitches but they weren't game breaking so I didn't think about it too much. Now, I have ideas as to how I can fix them now and I will try to do so in the next update.

Are you ever going to come back to MCreator/Making this mod? If you aren't then can I have the project files so I know how you made the pikmin system
