If you've ever thought Minecraft's deserts feel a little too barren, a little too empty, then this is the mod for you!
Despite what many people think, real-life deserts are far from empty - they're teeming with unique flora and fauna, most of which are specially adapted for living in such difficult, unpredictable conditions. Anything that wants to thrive in the desert needs to be efficient with how it uses water, and must be able to keep itself safe in some way from the heat. Because of the unique environment in which these creatures and plants live, they are very different from those that live in areas with plentiful water and shade.
Desert Alive aims to spice up the desert, adding several new succulent plants, cacti, shrubs, trees, and wildflowers, and eventually also new animals and even people! With a focus on adventure and discovery, I hope to make something more beautiful out of the barren yellow sand.
Version 1.0.1 adds the following:
- Blue ice plant
- Indian paintbrush
- Blanket flower
- Mormon tea (Ephedra)
- Spanish bayonet yucca
- Joshua tree (yucca brevifolia)

More Minecraft Mods
Just a very small suggestion: perhaps make the lithops not turned, so they align properly with the other blocks. It would look cleaner that way, but it's fine if you'd rather not. Other than that, outstanding mod!
