3D Custom Models In 1.7.10

Since Techne isn't available anymore, blender in the last option to use to make 3d models for mcreator for minecraft 1.7.10. I was wandering if there was any other program that I could use for 3D modelling, or if I could use one of the JSON 3D modelling softwares for minecraft 1.8 and then convert them to .java files and export them in MCreator.

I had to get a new computer because my old one died, and I could not find a working, non-virus laiden link to download techne.

yes but blockbench works…

yes but blockbench works with mcreator 1.7.3(for minecraft 1.7.10)
