Have you ever seen the Blaze and the recently added Breeze in 1.21 and thought, "I wish there were more elemental type creatures in this silly block game :(" you probably haven't
BUT NOW THERE ARE
These new creatures and related features are all based off the secret element paintings recently added to Minecraft java edition!!
Kiwi's (me) Elementals currently only adds the water/ice elemental features but more is planned!!
(note that the Breeze has NOT been added into this mod and will be overhauled when 1.21 releases)
My Goal with this mod is to add onto gameplay and lore in the Minecraft sense in the most "Vanilla+" style i can muster up, this mod is heavily being worked on by myself as well as going to school and my part-time job, i will continue to work tirelessly to update as much as i can. So any support is more than welcome :D
Mobs:
The Brine
The Brine is the water elemental, emitting snowflake and mist particles (not shown in render above) attacking the player from a distance with its signature bubble beam, (Which freezes water and certain blocks in its path!!), kill the Brine to obtain a couple snow balls as well as its Brine Rod, used to make Water Charges (which can be crafted into water buckets and shoot its signature bubble beam) And a Trident!!
There may be a way to obtain its mysterious mist that surrounds it but you'll have to find out yourself ;)
NOTE: some of the beta features for the next update featuring a rework of the blaze can be found in this version but nothing is obtainable in survival as of now
…MORE COMING SOON...
I believe I have figured out how to retexture items! If you go to the mod's folder, then to 'src', then 'main', then 'resources', and then 'assets', you will then want to create a folder called 'minecraft' with no capitalization or punctuation. in this folder, you will need to create another folder called 'textures'.

Anyway, Once you have the 'textures' folder, then within that you can make other folders like 'item' or 'block', and in those you can add new textures with the same name as the vanilla textures you want to replace with them. For example, to retexture the trident, you will need an 'item' folder and an 'entity' folder. In the 'item' folder, add or create a texture called 'trident'. Vanilla's defaulte texture for this is 16x16, and this is the item texture (for in the inventory or an item frame). However, because the trident has a 3d model for on your player or when thrown, you will need another texture, also called trident, in the 'entity' folder. Vanilla's default texture for this is 32x32. If you want textures for reference, I suggest either looking in Minecraft's files or going to minecraft.wiki and going to 'list of item textures'.
good idea and modeling
