Most End mods are either unfinished or way overdone... Endless End aims for a vanilla-style dimension update, reimagining the End with new biomes, creatures, and minerals suitable for the end game. This mod is a work in progress, but is more or less complete in its present state. This page should explain most of the mod's contents... but you may want to explore it for yourself, hence the spoiler tabs. Feedback is appreciated, but please read the FAQ before commenting. This mod requires Geckolib to function.

This mod overhauls the end with four-and-a-half new biomes, new-and-improved structures, new minerals, new equipment, and dangerous new foes. For more details, the Curseforge Page contains a more extensive list of features.

Changelog
  • Improve the End. Kind of too tired to write a proper changelog. Just check the Curseforge Page. ;)

It's just nbt structures- there's three types of pillars, each with about 16 randomly selected segments. The positions of the well, pillars, and spawn platform are always the same, so when the end loads for the first time it just loads the structures in manually. (Making sure there's a good distribution of pillar types.) Doesn't even need jigsaw blocks!

I don't get why I never win Mod of the Week. :( My mods are great because most of them don't need Geckolib to function.

Really great mod. I noticed a few things about crafting recipes that I hope will be improved as it leaves alpha (trying to be helpful, not negative), specifically: the planks don't seem to be tagged as minecraft:planks. Flurry rods can't be crafted into charges. Star and jelly blocks can't be de-crafted like most storage blocks. The ores don't have a direct smelting option (like vanilla ores do, even though I don't think many people use them). And the recipe to duplicate amnesoclast seems to reference a block tag instead of an item tag. I also noticed that golden humus seems to always place facing upwards.
Again, not trying to be negative, this seems like a really great mod, and I just wanted to let you know of a few things that could be improved as it improves/leave alpha.

this is so cool! im going to add it to my next playthrough!

Amazing job, this is very Vanilla yet modded at the same time, perfectly balanced.

Congratulations for winning Mod of the Week :)
