The mod is set in a post-apocalyptic world far in the future, where technology has advanced to the point of being indistinguishable from magic, and humanity reduced back to the medieval era of technology.
Magiswords are a category of swords that buff your attack damage based on the "Manatricity" (MT) you currently have. Also, depending on the type of Magisword, it can apply different effects on your target like setting them on fire, drowning them, etc.

Magicasters are a type of tool that allows their users to create "Magicasts" that do various effects such as healing, explosion, Anti-Magi, etc.

Magipower is an advanced tool with many varieties that gives you passive abilities, weaknesses, and 3 active abilities. You can get Magipower by killing a mob that has a specific Magipower or if you have a Magipower Container with Magipower stored inside. This is not magic, btw... :]
A Metal Person is a non-human race that you can find and trade with. You can't trade with any of them as they are separated into jobs like Adventurer, Potion Seller, Debt Collector, Knight, etc. You can identify them by their green eyes from other variations. Metal People's minds are connected together and have a bounty/debt system that will punish whoever kills too many of this specific variant of Metal People (with green eyes).

The Possessed Metal Person is a variation of the Metal Person that has gone out of control and will kill any Human or Metal Person on site. They can upload themselves into another metal person's body if their current body is heavily damaged and the target body is killed. Their possession ability extends to players and can possess them and be a "Possessed Zombie". Be sure to kill them if you're strong enough, but avoid them when not prepared.

The Lost Metal Person, a banished variation of the Metal people. They are not part of the Metal People's Bounty system and can be killed without consequence. Though you must be careful when approaching one, as their behavior/personality can be unpredictable. They can be neutral, but can also attack you on site, or be a coward, or a bounty hunter, etc.

Pure Metal People don't spawn naturally, but instead, body parts can be found in the "Overrun Facility" structure, which you use to assemble the Pure Metal Person. After you assemble it, you are now its master, and it will fight for you without second thought. Also, once you assemble it, you can freely give or take armor, weapons, and Magipower from your Pure Metal Person.

Since ALIT: Magitech is the sequel to ALIT: Sunlight Zombie, the mobs from the previous mod still exist, but do not spawn naturally. Careful with messing around with Sunlight Alchemy, as the Metal People (green eyes) have illegalized it. You can get more debt as you mess around with Sunlight Alchemy near a Metal Person. Too much debt will turn into a bounty later. Also, if not careful, you may cause another Sunlight Zombie apocalypse.
