For the love of updates is a mod that adds new things to the game with every new mod version, similar to Minecraft updates! (smaller additions to the mod will be snapshot releases) each "update" will revolve around a specific theme and will add or change new things such as:

New mobs
New Foods
Terrain Generation
New Structures
New Items and Armors
Player Animations
New Music

(DISCLAIMER: If the shader you use with this mod doesn't allow for transparent particles, the fog particles will show up as solid and heavily block your view)

(images showcase the new river reeds, grapes, white dandelion, and 3 tropical jungle plants, Dandelion blow particles, and leaf and branch particles that fall from the sky when in forest type biomes)

Here is a list of all currently planned "updates" and "snapshots" and what they will add (this is just the gist of everything, there WILL be more than just what is listed below)

1. Otherworldly Overhaul | Adds new biomes and mobs to both the end and the nether, and also slightly changes the look of the ender dragon. Examples : The Riftlands end biome with shattered stars in the sky, the Endworm that hunts Enderman, HeatFelids nether biome with lava lakes, and the fire gecko that will eat small magma cubes.

Snapshot 26w05b - FABULOUS FOLIAGE

Added river reeds, grapevines, 3 new tropical flowers for the jungle, and a white dandelion
added leaf and branch particles that fall when you are in forest type biomes
animated the short grass texture
made it so fog spawns in jungle type biomes when its raining, and that the fog in the swamp biomes get more intense and heavy during rain.
Changes the rain texture and sounds to be more heavy
Made it so that coffee beans no longer spawn everywhere and only spawn in jungle
made it so that the walking stick no longer gives you saturation while holding it, as it was very unbalanced

Added taiga bird mob that spawns in taiga and spruce biomes Added tree bird mob that spawns in plains, meadow, and certain forest biomes

Temporary fix for the red panda audio not working properly; replacing all its audio with the minecraft bat audio
Added fog particles for swamp and mangrove swamp biomes Added firefly particles for the swamp biome, and added blue fireflies for the mangrove swamp and old growth birch forest biomes
Added tiny clay lakes in the old growth birch forest biome
added butterfly particles in certain forest type biomes and meadow biome (also spawns in plains biome with a reduced spawn percentage)
added wind particles and ambiance in mountain type biomes
changed rain and rain splash textures

Version 1.0 - Cozy Comforts (available on curseforge)

This version adds:

A new mob, the red panda! This little critter can be found scurrying around jungle-type biomes.
Blankets! Blankets are chestplate armor that can be crafted with different colored wool. The blanket keeps you warm and stops you from freezing when falling in powdered snow. It doesnt stop you from sinking, though, so be careful!
Walking stick! The walking stick is a simple item that regenerates hunger when held in your main hand.
Hot chocolate and cofee mugs! Craft these drinks with a mug, milk/water, and add chocolate for hot chocolate, and coffee beans for coffee! (the crafting recipies for chocolate and a mug are given to you ingame, while coffee beans drop from the newly added coffee plant.)

A new Snowy camp structure that spawns in snowy biomes! This structure has a few chests, and one of wich gives you the lofi music discs. Currently, finding the camp is the only way to obtain the music discs.
New terrain generation!
( Baskets and Basket of redpanda will be fully completed and added in the upcoming 2.0 version, you can give yourself the beta version of the items with commands)
