How To Make Custom Book GUIs

Most mods come with a manual like a book, but I don't know how to make a manual book. I can't work it out in my mind, becuase you need to make to item, as well as the book gui. the problem is, how do I get them to work together, so when you right click with the book in your hand, it opens the GUI? I really want to make a mod with a manual, so people who play it, know how it works. Please help me, as I really want to get a manual, other wise, I have to simplify my mod :(

If anyone can help please respond or comment, so everyone who wants a custom book in their mod, can have one.

If anyone wants to know, please be sure to let other people know, so we can get an answer.

You need to make a GUI for every page and link them by using GUI buttons,

page 1 needs a button that opens page 2page 2 needs buttons that

open page 1 and page 3 and so on.

After that just make the item that you want to

open the GUI and set the RightClickOnBlock event to open your GUI,

then set the RightClickInAir event to the same (Opening you GUI).

And that's it.

PS. When you open a GUI using a GUI button the other opened GUI automatically closes.

@#1 Dear thomas2000, Thank you sooooo much. I am new to modding with MCreator, and I would like some help with things, which are not listed in the 'New Mod' menu.

thomas2000, you have answered every part of my original question, which makes me happy, and now I can make some really good mods, becuase everything is explained in the book.

Something I forgot to ask, How do I get the book page texture? Do I go looking through the minecraft texture resources? Also, Would I be able to but the buttons over the texture? I'm using the latest version, (Minecraft Version: 1.10.2 | MCreator Version: 1.7.1), if so, how?
