5 Ideas for MCreator

Hey there. On this forum topic, I want to suggest some ideas for MCreator.

1. Improvements on mod element name

You might know that the first characters you enter a lowercase letter on the mod element name, it just turns into an uppercase letter.

This should not be supposed to happen. Instead, MCreator should support lowercase letters as first characters on the mod element name as uppercase letters too, and it should support this character that looks like this ( _ ).

2. Improvements on mod name when exported to .ZIP or .JAR

The mod name you enter can't use spaces and is used on the entire mod name support. So, you need to make an option to make a mod ID name and mod name, the mod ID name is used to support block/item ID names like modidname:moditem and the mod name is used to use the real mod name.

3. Chest/Workbench/Furnace GUIs on blocks/items

Let me explain. I am working on MC Mega Pack which will add a bunch of stuff. But there's stuff I have that are storage like portable bags, so I need a chest GUI for them. Please Pylo, add support to chest, crafting table and furnace GUIs with custom names to blocks and items that are useful for storage.

4. Items which that look like they are enchanted option

Do you know the Nether star? Yep, it has an effect that it is enchanted. So, I want this option to exist on items on MCreator.

5. Items/tools/armor that have enchantments when got

There's items on OreSpawn like the Ultimate toolset that have enchantments when you get them. Please Pylo add this option to items, tools and armor. It would help me making my OreSpawn remake.

@#1 Yep, I agree.

I also want an option on MCreator to change block/item/dimension/biome IDs. Example:[spoiler]Block IDs 4500-4750, Item IDs 8000-8500, Dimension IDs 250-295, Biome IDs 150-250[/spoiler]

Well, you can add enchants with a custom crafting recipe, but that could be made easier, good ideas.

@#3 I know. But the Orespawn weapons get enchantment even if you didn't even craft it.

I hope they fix the bug thing when in the test enrionment all your custom stuff is like "Tile.block1.name." Because that bug is really annoying.

@#8 That is just caused since 1.11.2 only allows lowercases, backslashes, and underscrolls.

If you want that bug to be fixed, try to use CompatLayer
