This is the official topic for RaolCraft Omega.

Here I will write comments about future updates, changelogs, etc.

You can post here bug reports, suggestions, opinions, etc.

OLD STUFF:

I'm sorry that I am not making updates for RaolCraft 3 but I'm having some problems with internet connection (yes again)

 

Anyways, when I will have back the good internet connection I will release new little mods instead of updating RaolCraft.

The mods will be released in a single mod page because they will be like a modpack.

What mod should I make first?

 

Raol's Improved Vanilla

This mod will improve Vanilla minecraft without changing the gameplay (like Quark or Craft Horizons). Some features will be taken from RaolCraft (Raolcraft 1 was intended to be like a Minecraft update). 

 

Raol's Furniture mod

It's simply a furniture mod.

 

Raol's Clothes mod

Inspired by Killer Unicorns's Clothes+ mod.

 

Raol's Garden

A mod that adds more plants

 

(yes all of them start with Raol's because there may be other mods with similar names and also so they are all next to each other.)

 

Why am I doing this?

Because RaolCraft 3's workspace is broken and when importing it I need to fix an hundred of bugs and so it's better to make another mod.

 

Do you prefer another remake? RaolCraft Omega Edition XD

RaolCraft 1 reached 35 mod elements 

RaolCraft 2 reached 200+ mod elements 

RaolCraft 3 reached 900+ mod elements 

RaolCraft Ω maybe will reach 4500 mod elements XD just joking

To light up the portals you need scepter. Every scepter is called after its dimension. For example, to light the Magma Forest dimension (Fire/Lavic Dimension), you need the Scepter of the Magma Forest.

The only exception will be the Key of Light that will be used to open the Original World's portal (it isn't released yet)

-The Magic Lamp is a good idea.

-I have already added 2 items that negate fall damage: the Totem and the Amulet of Cloud Impact. They are unobtainable in survival at the moment (you should beat the Sky Boss to obtain them, that will be added in the next update).

-I want to add weapons, however I don't know what should they do. I don't want to make them simple weapons that do damage or do something useless or overpowered, and honestly I have no idea at the moment.

-This is a great idea. I think I will add those rare jewels in 2.1 (there are already many things to add in 2.0). (The armor/tools won't be too OP though. I think I will make them have very high durability, medium-high resistance/damage/efficiency and some special effects :))

-I have already added it: it's the Wand of Teleportation. You can surround a Basic Wand with Ender Pearls to craft it.

-There are already some new potions in Raolcraft Omega. They are the Potions of Resistance, Saturation and Glowing and are crafted using the Advanced Brewing Stand. I will add more potions in the future, however I will try to make them different from Pyromancy's Vials.

Anyways, I have already added a new reward weapon in the latest snapshot of 2.0. It is the Slowing Stick. It slows down the enemies it hits without dealing additional damage :)

How did you code the slowing stick? I promise I won't copy your code, I rather just want to know how to apply a potion effect to a mob when they are hit.

I didn't code, I just used procedures :)

Just make a procedure that adds a potion effect to the entity and bind that procedure to "when item hits entity" trigger.

I'm sorry that didn't update my mods for a while, but I have been busy and my computer didn't work for a week.

I will try to work on Hodge-Podge III next week and maybe also release some new Modular Expansion modules.

I will just make another Hodge-Podge III update then I will start working on the next RaolCraft Omega update. It will be big :)

Spoiler: it will add more plants to the Flora dimension, new utilities for early/midgame, overhaul the Earth and Sky dimensions, add 2 new bosses, more mobs, more dungeons, more weapons ... A lot of stuff is planned :D
