Hello! It's me again Loic_MaitreDuFeu!
Today I am making another Tutorial to help you in MCreator, well not really a tutorial but mainly some Tips or Tricks to help you a bit!
The Tip and Trick is about Adding some more templates for Texture making or procedure!, Let's start
Utility: If you are a good modder who needs lot of textures or don't want to lose time in procedures, this tutorial is for you!
WAIT!!!! This tutorial won't work for people using 1.8.2 but now is for 1.8.3!
1) Adding Templates in the texture maker!
The Adding Templates is really EASY!!!
All what you should do is to drag an Image in C:\Users\Username\.mcreator\templates\textures\texturemaker
The Image is the Template! (I used raw chicken in the example!)
And After it looks like this!
2) Procedure Templates!
I think I don't really need to explain as it works pretty same way :)
All what you should do is to drag an Exported .ptpl file (procedure file) in C:\Users\Username\.mcreator\templates\ptpl
Rename your .ptpl file you put in it in a way you can found it!
How it looks!
That's all for today guys! Thanks for reading :)

how about on mac
For macOS, it is same, just in macOS like user folder instead.
Klemen, I can't find .mcreator on mac
It is in your user home folder, but is most likely hidden as it starts with .
Enable hidden directories in finder.
okay and klemen can you republish my mod? I fixed the picture
Thanks so much for this, how would I do it with armor tho?
Custom armor templates are not supported yet.
for armor you can go to novaskin
Im being dumb, but from where do we pull said textures (the ones that go into mcreator folder)
we don't need this anymore
now we can add templates from the preference settings
thanks
uhhhhh, exactly how do you import templates from the preferences setting? i imported a texture but it won't show up in the templates. it should work for 2020.4, right?
