Beneath the Cold Sky (frozen fortresses, dungeons & adventure mod)

Hello! I know I'm spamming with my topics recently a bit, you have to forgive me. The more modding I do, the more interesting it gets :D

So with that topic I wanted to announce one of my new side-projects, being Beneath the Cold Sky. This mod is going to be different from what I make, because it will focus on structures (while with my other mods I wanted to avoid impact on generation to minimum).

What is this mod going to be, you will ask?
It will add new structures to cold biomes (ice spikes, snowy tundras and taigas). For now I have only fortress and dungeon in mind, but that is going to expand, I'm pretty sure.
Other than that, it will focus much more on story/adventure aspect of mod than my previous Wastelands of Baedoor. It will also add new weapons and fight mechanics, so this is the only one thing not changing, and of course it will try to keep vanilla balance with new mobs and maybe even bosses.

From other things, this mod is something which I plan as a learning process of 1.12.2 modding, so you can expect it will be dedicated for that version. First public alpha version should be released soon, adding only a couple of things (I will do it just for keeping all my modding plans better organised, so you can expect also my other side-project dropping soon).
But with next versions BtCS will be bigger and - I hope - much more interesting in case of adventure/RPG part of this mod.

And here are some new blocks and new knife, which will be content of v0.a1.
If you have any ideas, let me know, I will gladly appreciate any feedback on that mod!
(and if you think that I am inspired by Cold Horizon mod... well, you are right! Even the title is kind of tribute to it. This idea is heavily based on impression CH:AL made on me, showing me that I can play Morrowind in Minecraft - so if you loved TES III: Bloodmoon expansion, this + Cold Horizon are my main atmosphere-goals)

Oh, I'm not anywhere close to masters such as rmsandegs or Sajevius, but thanks a lot!

My main trick I use is just taking the colour and making it just *slightly* darker/brighter, or changing the saturation in similar way. Shortly: HSV/HSL colour sliders are awesome. That technique helps with smooth transitions from dark part of a block to lighter, which is my main struggle most of the time.
The rest is just playing with the ideas, experimenting, sometimes searching for nice photos to be inspired from :)

Quick update, since I feel like I need to clarify this topic: this mod idea is scrapped, unfortunately.

I may use some of BtCS resources and ideas in my other mod, Civilisations of Baedoor tho. It will not come out soon (because it is huge project, and because frozen dimension is planned as a second one, so for now I'm focusing on desert), but eventually it will (and 1.16 support is guaranteed, not sure on which newer one it will be released, especially with this frozen dimension).

I'm sorry for anyone who got excited by this, but as said, it isn't fully lost, just will be adjusted to my current plans ^^
