Custom item not working with preset procedure.

This might be hard to explain, but I'm making a warrior cats mod and the part I'm currently working on is making soaked moss. I can't seem to get the preset procedure for filling a bottle to work with the moss. I've replaced the bottles in the script with the moss types, but it isn't doing anything. Does anyone know how I can set this up right? I've also tried making a bucket system but I can't find the bits of code I need to make it (I'm very new to this stuff). Thanks!
